I haven't posted in a while, mainly due to the fact that I still haven't been able to get a computer. I'm waiting for my dad to finish transferring his files. So I haven't been playing as much as I usually would. Once I get the computer I can go back to normal life at least.

The Halloween event was released, I would post a picture of the event but I can't do that right now. It involved me putting up webs in the Grim Reapers house. I received quite an ugly cape and an amusing spider name Eek.

So since it's a new month I guess I should post another image of my skills.

In a month I have gained 4 Smithing levels, 3 Herblore levels, 2 Fishing levels, 5 Thieving levels, 1 Magic level, 5 Runecrafting levels, 1 Slayer level, 8 Farming levels and 6 Construction levels. I have also gained 9 quest points and a considerable amount of slayer reward points. Not a very progressive month I have to say.

My membership ran out today and I'm in a dilemma as to how I should renew it. As Runescape membership cards have been released in Sainsbury stores throughout the U.K I thought that I should buy 90 day cards as they are much cheaper than SMS. However, when I went to sainsburys they said they don't sell them until the 18th of November. That annoyed me quite a bit. I think I'm just going to pay £6 for this month and then try and get the card next month.

While on the topic of stores being a giant let down, I bought Gears of War 1 and 2 today. I played the first game for a few hours and then tried to play the sequel so I could slaughter my friend. But when I put the disk in it totally mucks up and tells me to open the disk tray again. This is probably because I bought it preowned and there are lots of scratches. I'll have to go tomorrow and tell Game whats what. If they are open on Sundays...

Computer Breakdown

I haven't been able to update my blog for a while and it's because my computer has broken down. To some extent I knew that it would break down as it has been in my family for 6-7 years. I can even say the exact date as to when it broke down as I was performing a show on the same day. I wasn't in the house at all when it broke so it could only have happened naturally or been because of my brother doing something. Fortunately, my sister has let me use her laptop while she's at work so I can still play Runescape. I'm going to be buying a new computer with the money that I hopefully get from the job and my dad is going to give me his old computer as soon as he is finished making a new one for himself. I'll just have to ask him for something temporary to use in the half-term. In the meantime I can't post any screenshots as I can't install Swiftkit.

52 Herblore, 55 Smithing, 56 Farming, Completed Royal Trouble quest and Throne of Miscellania.

The Fishing Guild

I got 68 fishing today. It took quite a while considering it isn't even 70. I can now enter all guilds. I'm not that chuffed though. It just doesn't feel like much an achievement. I have no idea what I'm going to do tomorrow, maybe trying to get 60 smithing or start training hunter again. I'm swaying towards smithing. Just because I've been watching a lot of Dragon Balls lately. It sure is great to stop myself getting bored as easily. I might even complete some quests.

Due to the recent herblore update, prices were dropping quite a bit. Unfortunately for me, Jagex have restricted the new potions so they cannot be used in certain areas/worlds. They can't be used in all pvp or bounty worlds, castle wars, clan wars, duel arena, soul wars and the tzhaar fight pit. This has caused most items to rise in price again, notably the bandos weapons and armour and dragonfire shield. Not good for me...

What a day. I managed to raise all of my skill to 50 or above today. Runecrafting and farming were easy, as I only had to harvest my fruit trees, ranarrs and allotments. I only had to craft 400-500 astrals so that wasn't a problem either. Construction stole all the money I had earned by making natures. I managed to check out the runecrafting guild and play a game of 'The Great Orb Project' . I can't say I liked it though. I probably won't be playing it anytime in the future, nothing can compare to Barbarian Assualt :). Just two more fishing levels and I'll officially be able to enter all guilds! That's probably what I'll be trying to get tomorrow, if the pile of homework that's been amassing doesn't crush me under it.

I need to get some sleep if I want to go to my clans event tomorrow - Clan Wars. I have to be there at 12:30. Nightmare!

Runecrafting

A friend asked me along to craft some Astral runes with him. It was quite fun and I got to try out the runecrafting pouches I had gotten a while back. We stopped after a while because I had to eat dinner and he never came online after that but it was enough to get me excited about the skill. It even gave me the chance to try Graahk runecrafting, which I have been amazed at ever since I got 57 summoning. I decided to get 50 runecrafting to be able to use large runecrafting pouches and enter the runecrafting guild. I only managed to get 49 runecrafting today and only crafted 1.4k of natures in the measly 49 minutes that it had. If it's this slow even with the large pouch I don't think I'm going to be that happy about it anymore. Back to astrals for now I guess.

Jagex have released even more updates. You now have the option to take a picture of your character so that it can be displayed on the runescape forums. It's apparently taken by an imp in a box who casts a spell... Quite crude to be honest. Oh well. It'll save me from having to read the posters name every time. Yes, I am that lazy :). There also some new potions only available to experienced herblorists. If that makes sense =D.

Names

I purchased members today. I didn't get to do much, just the circus and tears of guthix. I managed to get two more pieces of the clown costume, but not any ringmaster.

The display name update came out too. I really want to change my display name, I just haven't decided yet. The original name I wanted is already taken. I think I might have the account but I've tried all the passwords that it might be and I've tried to recover the account too. I'm trying to find out if the name will become available if the user is inactive. I guess I'll just have to rack my brains until I think up a decent name...

A New Month

It's the last day of September and the start of October. Not a very progressive month, for me anyway. The job I've been doing is almost finished. Just a few more days until I will be free and hopefully a lot richer! I say hopefully because this job is making me feel like it's cursed. I've had to redo parts of it so many times that it's not funny. I've had an idea that I should upload a picture of my stats, quest points and combat level every month, so that I can see how much I have progressed in that month and compare it with the next. Here's Septembers:

Boredom

I've been very bored lately. Kickabout isn't as entertaining as it used to be, I'm even thinking of not getting funorb membership at all. It hasn't really been any use at all, I haven't used any of the member features and I won't be needing trinkets until I progress into the next league, Quartz, which would require me to almost triple the points I have now. It would take me roughly four straight hours of game play, providing that I win 3/4 games.

Membership

My Runescape membership has expired. Since I still have 8 days left of my Funorb membership I'm going to wait until that ends too so I can buy them together and get a small discount. Until then I'm not going to have any posts about Runescape unless a good update is released. I still might post an occasional one about Kickabout League or even real life.

According to another blogger, Dg, with the current prices 71 to 99 runecrafting would give almost 373 million profit. This is using the Spirit Graahk nature runecrafting method. This would be even more for me with my runecrafting! I doubt I would be able to get 99 runecrafting though, I just don't have the patience or commitment. It's good to know that if I ever do craft natures I'll be able to earn quite a bit.

More Updates

I haven't played much Runescape today. I did manage to get 50 Herblore though, I've just been using up the herbs that have been cluttering my bank. It did give me a chance to see the bad points of the stock update though. Water vials are going to be quite a problem as the Ardougne general store only sells 300 at a time and shilo village sells 1k. My herblore isn't very high so it shouldn't affect me much, but I do feel sorry for others who are going to have to spend even more money training.

One thing that is really annoying me right now is the price rise of broad bolts. Broad bolts are the main thing that got me interested in range as they are as strong as adamant bolts and were cheaper than mithril too. I might be able to make them myself if I buy the ability to fletch them. Although, I have been saving up my reward points for the slayer helmet...

Jagex have also updated tutorial island. Well when I say updated I mean removed it (It still appears on the world map) and have made a new tutorial, similiar to the previous one with Sir Vant. You appear in the cellar of your soon to be advisor, Roddeck. He is trapped inside a cupboard by a fierce, red dragon. I meet a white knight, Sir Vant, and his squire. His squire is killed and I use his armour to kill a goblin who is trying to steal the knights belongings while he is fending off the dragon. We devise a plan to drug the dragon and collapse the roof onto it while it is sleeping. After the beast is dead I had the option as to whether I would mine or cut my way out. Depending on which option you picked your level in that skill rose to 4. It was a very entertaining quest and much more engaging than tutorial island.

Changing your characters basic appearance has also been updated and has a handy rotate feature. I'm liking this update =D.

Ringmaster

I managed to get two pieces of the ringmaster costume today =D.

I think it looks good with my cooking skillcape. I was reading a guide on how to obtain the costume and it inspired me to try it out. Qfc: 98-99-137-58630705. You should read it if you are trying to obtain the costume. I managed to get enough points with 76 Range and 60 Agility, but I did have to sip a ranging potion and a summer pie. I failed the Magic performance with 71 Magic and a potion.

I also managed to finish Lunar Diplomacy. It wasn't very difficult but you do have to defeat a few 100+ monsters, they aren't very hard as you can run away and the bank is very close. The quest was quite fun and I gained access to the Lunar spellbook, although I don't think I'm going to be using it much. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a screenshot of the full reward so I'll just list them here.

School

School has started again. I already got 2 pieces of homework today for Maths and French. I finished the Maths homework and the French shouldn't take too long. I'm not looking forward to this year at all... I should probably tell you why I've been busy lately. I agreed to do this job for a catering company which has taken up all my free time and forced me to sleep later than usual. In the job I have to upload items and their pictures. It might not sound like it takes much time but I have suffered many setbacks. The job probably wont be finished for a few days but I still can't play Runescape for that time. Which is a shame since the new clan that I have joined - Blessings, are hosting an event this Saturday at fight pits.

Runescape has quite a few new updates. I can't say that they benefit me much. My computer isn't good enough to play in Hd and I don't think the cursors look good either. The auto casting spells without a staff might come in handy, but I don't use Magic much. What's really annoyed me is the new shop update. Shops now have a limit on how many you can buy, instead of the usual infinite stock. This means that the items needed to make Summoning pouches aren't going to be easily obtainable. At least I made a lot of Spirit Terrorbirds before the update. Water vials are also going to be hard to get so Herblore is going to be much more expensive... I doubt Jagex are going to bring back infinite stock though, they can be very stubborn sometimes. After all, they are only human. I hope they at least raise the stock...

I almost forgot, I've been playing Kickabout League alot recently so I got Funorb membership :). I haven't purchased any trinkets yet but I will as soon as I get some decent players. Which will have to wait until I get promoted to Quartz.

I haven't posted in a while. I've been a bit busy with real life at the moment so I probably won't have time to hunt much. For now I've been training other lower leveled skills. After tears of guthix raised my runecrafting level to 43 I decided that I might as well craft fire runes to get it to 44. This also raised my total level to 1600 =).

I then headed to the desert to mine granite and raise my mining 3 levels to 60. I can now enter the legendary Mining Guild. 60 Mining is still not very good but I don't like training it because it requires too much clicking seems boring to me. Once i get 1 more Crafting level I will have all the requirements for Lunar Diplomacy.

Since I was in the desert I ran to Sumona to get a new slayer task so I could gain the 20k experience to 80 Defence and raise my combat level to 110. She gave me a task of 131 blue dragons which was more than enough to level.

Now the only thing left to look forward to in Defence is 99, which will have to wait a very long time.

Spas and Hunter

I managed to complete two quests today, Zogre flesh eaters and As a first resort. Quite a good reward for as a first resort, considering that I stayed in the same area. I have to try out the spas fully later but they seem quite good. I should also try to catch a Platypus as a pet.

After completing first resort I bought raw bird meat to make Spirit Terrorbirds with, gaining 57 Summoning.

The Spirit Graahks will come in handy in the future when I start runecrafting/running natures and the Spirit Larupias when I start hunting Red Chinchompas as they give a +5 Hunter Bonus and being the cheapest out of the 3 new familiars I can summon.

I've also decided to try and get 99 Hunter, although I don't think the skillcape looks that good it'll be good to have a second 99. The money gained from catching Red Chinchompas is also a bonus. I'm thinking of trapping Red Salamanders until 80 Hunter and then moving onto Chinchompas. I'll also be using a Larupia familiar and the mud spa because it gives a Hunter bonus and masks my scent.

Accomplishments today:
75 Hunter, 57 Summoning, 90 Fletching and 2 quests completed.

Beginning

Hello, I first started playing Runescape in 2005 but I quit a few times and I can't remember when I started this account. My stats are mediocre, with Hunter being my favorite skill and Cooking being my highest.

I'm sorry if my pictures are bad quality. My computer is very old so I have to play in the lowest detail possible.
